Choices, Judgement and Life After Death

Choices, Judgement and Life After Death

Walht: describe the relationship between the person one becomes in life, and one's life after death.
In our lives we are judged on our choices and behaviour, when we pass away we enter into purgatory and wait as we examine our conscience and God will give us his reasoning on how we lived our lives on earth. If we should go to heaven or hell.

Saint John

I would choose my Saint name John because my uncle John which we call him Sione, was a priest in Tonga and the John in the bible was one of Jesus twelve disciples and that he had the patron of love, loyalty and friendship.

Analysing data in graphs

Walht: create graphs using a spreadsheet and to analyse data in those displays.
This data shows that Monday had no rain but on Tuesday it was heavy rain because it was 7 millimeters, Wednesday had no rain however Thursday was a raining hard so it was 5 millimeters, Friday was a bit lower than thursday which gave us 4 millimeters, then on Saturday it was not that bad because it was 2 millimeters of rainfalls, the next day which is Sunday went up so it gave us the millimeter of 6 close to Tuesday millimeter rainfall.`

This graph shows that Emily started weightlifting in January, when she could lift 40 kg. By the end of that year she was able to lift 49 kg. and had a very difficult time trying to lift up weights in February too. Next month (March) she was in progress but hard to lift weight. April went up a bit so the score was 42 kg.

This graphs tells us that William took 16 minutes to type 300 words. After 6 weeks of practise he could type them in 10 minutes.

Compare and contrast

Walht: Compare and contrast information from two articles to identify similarities and differences and then using that information to synthesize the key ideas that link to the values and skills of their sport codes.

This data shows that this student began with 91 and didn't do well on the second week

Spelling Term 3

Walht: Analyse and discuss data displays.

The data shows that this student  began with a spelling score of 14 out of a possible 20. While progress was made the following week with  the score 18 out of a possible 20, the following two weeks were low. Week 8 and 9 show very good progress - showing that the student concerned learnt their  words.

Worm and Sheep pellets!

I worked with a group of classmates on our inquiry topic this term.  We had to find information to build our knowledge, write key questions and find information after identifying an audience and a clear purpose.  This is our final presentation.

Botanic garden

Image result for botanical gardens
The Botanic Gardens is so beautiful and amazing. Our class had an opportunity to walk through and explore the jungles, gardens, edibles garden and other places that's part of the wide area covered by the Botanic Gardens. It was a perfect day to go and revisit the Botanic Gardens with my whole school. Our school admired the healthy fruits and vegetables like guavas, bananas, berries, raspberries, lettuce, beetroots, carrots, tomatoes and more.

Our class were talking about how our school can make our plants and veggies healthy and strong and not let the pests get into our plants and veggies. We were making a sucker sauce which helps the plants to grow and also helps to stop pests coming into the plants. We explored the spider home and worm farm; learned about composting and more.

I had so much fun at the botanic garden and I hope that it will continue to provide us with great knowledge about palnts, fruits and vegetables.

Walht: Write an information to inform a target audience.

Spiders

Spiders are 8 legged creatures. They eat insects like flies and  grasshoppers.  Spiders are patient and it’s a game of silence.

The spiders live about 1-3 years or 15-25 years. Spiders are 1.5cm - 2.5cm in length. They lay 1000 babies or more. Spiders have another name which is Araneae. If spiders bite, it might get itchy or swelling also redness and small bumps.

Spiders are the largest order of arachnids. Some spiders are venom or poison. There are different kind of spiders like widow spiders, jumping spiders, wandering spiders and more. Spiders web are spinning full and it is scary.

The poison spiders are the not beautiful one s but the venom spiders is so beautiful . Use a ice pack because it will swell and get even worse. Stay still when it’s on you, you can move a little bit and stay calm.

I think that spiders are fun because they are so nice but scary. Spiders are so interesting and amazing.

Walht: Identify key ideas and use them to write an information report.

Birthday present from dad!

Image result for birthday present
In the holiday’s, it was a hot and sunny.  My dad and sister went and pick up my big sister in the afternoon (from the university). I was waiting for them to come back. I was bored after I’d finished a game of basketball (with a flat ball). It was a difficult game and it lasted about  25 minutes.

When they got back they dropped off my big sister and went somewhere else. “Where are they going”?” I asked Cindy (my big sister) She said that I just had to  wait till they came back.  I went and played games because I was so bored. An hour later they came back.  I was sleeping and I heard the door shut and I ran as quickly as I could.

I asked my dad, “What’s going on here?” Both my little sister and my dad spoke at the same time and said “Nothing.”
I said,”What are you doing?” they said,“ surprise!”.
I told them my birthday is on Tuesday 3rd of May and it was a early birthday present. I said, “Thank you very much and I appreciate you dad. He bought me three jackets and two pairs of shoes. They brought it from Rebel Sport.
I am so lucky to have such  cool sisters and a wonderful dad.

Building patterns

Screenshot 2016-03-07 at 10.18.39 AM.png
Walht: find and continue a pattern - recording results in a table.

After analysing the pattern used for the tiles that make the factories, I create a table to

factory number
1
2
3
4
5
number of grey squares
2
4
6
8
10 (+2)
number of red squares
9
15
21
27
33 (+6)
number of all squares
11
19
27
35
43 (+8)
I have used the information in the table above to answer the questions below.
  1. How many grey squares do we need for the eighth factory?
16 grey squares
  1. How many grey squares will we need for the hundredth factory?
200
  1. What is the number pattern for the grey squares?
Add 2
  1. How many red squares do we need for the ninth factory?

54
5. If there are 14 grey squares how many red squares are there?
45
6. What is the number pattern for the red squares?
Add 6.
7. How do we get the number of red squares from one factory from the number of red squares in the factory before that?
3 red squares.
8. If we have to use exactly 36 red squares to making a factory, how many grey squares would we need?
5.5
9. How many squares do we need altogether for the seventh factory?
59
10. What is the number pattern that we are getting for the total number of squares?
+8
11. If we have 35 tiles, which numbered factory could we make?
4
12. Which of these numbers are not a number of squares of one of these factories: 20, 21, 22, 23
none of them above.

I entered the information into a spreadsheet

Introducing the amazing, awesome, fantastic Filipo!

Today I met a new person, let me tell you about him.

Filipo - He is so helpful to others when others get confused or stuck with a problem. He would go to that person and help him, he is also respectful to others when a new student comes in and he enjoys singing.

Building patterns

Walht: Idetify a pattern and use it to create a fraction equivalent to one shown.

Firstly I put my data into a table
Nest I selected the data and created the dot plot graph below.

I am learning how to build pattern.
This Pattern shows how many grey squares and how many red squares are there.
