On the first day of tech, we learned the instructions to clean, put away and ready for next week. Rules we learnt were: to listen to instructions, before you come in wear the right uniform. Avoid talking to another person while the speaker is talking and never talk back to the teacher.
We drew a diagram, known as a food pyramid, which had the food we needed to eat at home and anywhere else. This included vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy. The dairy products included: butter, cheese, milk and yogurt.
Following this, we h;ad to clean the sink to rub off the leftover cooking materials. We used hot water from the tap to be hygienic.
We listed three things we would like to cook next week and that it would fit in a jar. My partner and I (Lasike) picked apple sauce because it looks nice and tasted delicious.
This is our recipe:
- 6 pounds Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Cut Into 8 Slices.
- 1 cup Apple Juice Or Apple Cider.
- Juice Of 1 Lemon.
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, Packed.
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, More Or Less To Taste.
- Optional Ingredients: Nutmeg, Maple Syrup, Allspice, Butter.
